Dried Tapioca (Cassava root) or Unakka/ Vaattu Kappa as it is known in Kerala has high amounts of carbohydrates potassium protein and calcium. Having tapioca once a week is good for the bones and prevents aging. Dry Tapioca is basically tapioca that has been washed cleaned sliced/diced and dried in our Electrical dryer system. With our new electrical dryer technology we can assure not only the quality but also preserve essential nutritious values. Soak our dried tapioca in water for 6-8 hours overnight. Add salt and cook it in a pressure cooker. This dried Tapioca needs to be boiled well and the water drained completely before it can be consumed. Dry tapioca is prepared in the same way as fresh tapioca with varieties of recipes. But the taste differs a lot. We use 100% Organic farm fresh Kerala tapiocas for preparation.
